IE Security Vulnerability
Share
clear

These warnings are becoming all too frequent lately, but here's another one for you. Microsoft announced this week a vulnerability in all versions of their IE web browser. If you use Internet Explorer, you must now be even more careful than normal not to click on anything that might lead you to a web scam website where a hacker might gain possession of your private information. Here is one of many articles on the subject describing the current problem in detail.

The takeaway lesson in this is that you must be wary of any email that you may have received that you were not expecting or any link on a web site that looks suspicious. The Internet is a wonderful tool, but as with many tools, you can hurt yourself if you're not careful.

If you ever have any questions about something you receive in your inbox or anything else that might be related to online security, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 877 397-7605 or contact us online. At 111 Web Studio, we are always available to answer questions about these and other issues.
